This past weekend we set up camp (okay, just low chairs and a blanket) and experienced Summer Camp 2015 at Marymoor Park. This was our second time attending Summer Camp, and I’d say this year was the best.
For one, it wasn’t as horribly hot as it was the last time. I was actually a bit chilly at times (why didn’t I bring a jacket?!) but I do love the mild Washington weather.
For me, the best moments included In The Valley Below performing Peaches (I can’t believe that song was released in 2013), Saint Motel singing My Type, and basically all of Joywave‘s set: they had such great energy! My #1 memory will be Glass Animals performing Gooey. We missed out on Sasquatch this past Memorial Day, so I was happy to finally see one of my favorite songs of the year performed live.
Hopefully the rest of the summer is as great as this past weekend at the park!
Cheers!
